Various scholars have different views regarding this topic. According to a few of them, piercing nose in order to wear nose-pin is impermissible as it is a kind of mutilation or deformation of the face while others say that it is completely permissible specially if wearing it is a local tradition.
The thing a girl/woman wearing it should keep in mind is the fact that she should not wear it having any wrong intentions like attracting opposite gender or anything in her mind.
Another thing to note is that it is not permissible for a woman to show the jewelry she is wearing on her hand, ear or neck.
